FAQs

What do you print your invitations on?

We use the best quality paper and print here in Australia. Here are our paper options:

1. BRILLIANT WHITE - LINEN TEXTURED - 300GSM

Most Honest Invites event stationery is printed on this cardstock unless specified otherwise. This beautiful card stock features a distinct 'linen' style, adding a subtle texture to the entire print. We have chosen this cardstock as our preferred option because it's classy and the texture really sets it apart from other printeries. If you would like to order a sample, please do so here: Paper Sample.

2. BUFFALO BOARD - EXTRA THICK BROWN CARD - 332GSM

This rustic, extra thick card stock boasts a 'kraft-like' colour & texture. Being a vastly different style to our other paper types 'Buffalo Board' (non-typical) is printed only on weekends, therefore if selecting this stock allow for up to 5 additional business days for your order to be completed. Also, this unique card stock is only available on a selection of our designs as it has notable 'ink-absorption' properties. Designs with photographs are unable to be printed onto this card due to the fact that the stock absorbs a high percentage of the 'lightest' inks, resulting in lost details. Allow up to 2 weeks for white ink printing on buffalo board.

*PRINTING PHOTOGRAPHS*
Because of the modern & common use of Mobile Camera Phones, if your design includes a photograph (i.e. the 'Instant Photo' designs) we will use the image you provide us whether or not we 'personally' deem it to be high or low resolution, high clarity or slightly blurred. Before purchasing our product or sending your photo to us, you can make this judgement by viewing the image at 100% zoom on your screen to see if it is good quality.

Also, note that the colour & texture of a photograph will be altered slightly in the print process. For 'Linen Textured' cardstock printing, the image will have a subtle texture visible throughout the image.

Can you provide printed samples?

While due to print minimums we are unable to offer customised samples, our store does offer a low-cost product called 'Stock/Paper Type Samples'. If you are unfamiliar with paper types & thicknesses we recommend purchasing this physical sample set or visiting your local office supplies store to gain a better understanding of your purchase.

Can you customise my design to suit my needs?

All of our listings are template based designs, we’ve designed them to be beautiful and affordable. You can change any text item to say whatever you would like or if it’s a photo-based design of course you can change that too! Currently our customised suite design studio is fully booked so we are not able to offer custom designed invitations at this time.

Will I see a proof of my design before printing?

Once a design is 'approved' for printing it is the buyers responsibility to have notified us of any spelling/detail errors in the proofing process prior to sending their 'approval' or 'okay' to print. This process/policy exists for the buyers peace of mind, knowing that their custom designs will not be printed until confirmed by the buyer.

Can you do foil printing?

All listings, unless otherwise specified, are printed using only ink (not foil). The words 'silver', 'gold', 'rose gold', 'metallic' etc are in reference to our digital textures, that when printed produce a cost effective alternative to 'foiling'.

Can I order a customised quantity?

Due to print minimums, quantities are set in increments of 25 (i.e. 25, 50, 75 etc). Keeping in mind, having a few extra handy for keepsakes, undeliverable's and little accidents/misplacements is always a good idea!

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions about our policies & design processes. Thank you kindly for supporting small business!
